Boy scouting offers many opportunities for personal growth through outdoor activities such as camping, canoeing, caving, bicycling and climbing.  Boys also learn new skills by earning merit badges on subjects such as Environmental Science, Lifesaving, Personal Fitness, Archery, Aeronautics, Space Exploration, and Nuclear Science,  to name a few.  There are approximately 120 badges to choose from on all different subject material.  For more information on the aim and methods of scouting visit http://www.scouting.org/factsheets/02-503.html

Boy Scouts is open to all young men between the ages of 11 and 17.
